1. The short version
- We collect only what we need to edit your videos and talk to you.
- We don't sell your data. Our website has no analytics, no ad trackers and no cookies of its own.
- Stripe handles payments. We never see your full card details.
- Your files live in Google Drive folders we control and share with you.
- You can ask us to see or delete your data at any time.
2. Who we are
BEJÚ Creative ("BEJÚ," "we," "us") is a two-person video editing studio run by Benas and Simas, based in Lithuania. We decide how the information on this page is used, so we're responsible for it.
This policy explains what we collect, why, and what you can do about it. It sits alongside our Terms of service. Questions? Email hello@bejucreative.digital.
3. What we collect
- Your name and email. From Stripe checkout, our website forms, or when you email or message us.
- Your order details. What you bought, and the links and notes you give at checkout: your channel or the exact videos to edit, a link to your footage, and anything we should know about style, must-use moments or deadlines.
- Form answers. What you type into the project form on our homepage, or into our optional style form (handles, reference clips, style notes and anything we should never show).
- Your footage. The files you upload or link to, and what's in them, such as faces, voices and names.
- Messages and feedback. Emails, WhatsApp messages and Instagram DMs you send us, and comments you leave on your edits in Google Drive.
- Guarantee records. If your order is covered by our performance guarantee: the agreed account, the public view counts of your clips, and the analytics you send with a claim.
- Chat questions. Our website assistant, Ju, runs entirely in your browser. It doesn't send, save or share anything you type, and the conversation clears when you leave the page. If you then email us or use a form, we receive only what you send.
We sometimes email creators whose business email is public (on YouTube, Instagram or their website) to offer our editing. Reply "stop" and we won't email you again.
4. Why we use it
- To do the work you ordered. Editing, delivering your videos, revisions and the guarantee.
- To talk to you. Replying to questions and sending updates about your order.
- To keep records the law requires. Payments and accounting.
- To show our work. Featuring finished edits in our portfolio, unless you opt out (see section 9).
Our legal reason for each use
- Doing the work you ordered (editing, delivery, your round of changes and the guarantee): it is needed to carry out our contract with you.
- Payment and accounting records: the law requires us to keep them.
- Answering your messages and enquiries, showing our finished work and running our business: our legitimate interest. You can object at any time, and we will stop unless we have a strong reason to continue.
- Emailing creators whose business email is public (see section 3): our legitimate interest in offering our editing.
- Consent: if we ever ask for your consent, you can take it back at any time by emailing us. Taking it back doesn't affect what we did before.
To place an order, you need to give us your name, email and the links to your videos (or your files). Without them we can't do the work. We don't make decisions about you by computer alone.
5. Payments
Payments go through Stripe's secure checkout. Stripe handles your card, Apple Pay or Google Pay details. We never see or store your full card details.
Stripe shares with us what we need to run your order, such as your name, email, what you bought, the amount, and your answers to the checkout questions. Stripe handles your payment data under its own privacy policy.
6. Where your files and data live
Your footage and finished edits live in Google Drive folders in our account. If your files aren't online, we email you an upload folder, shared only with your email address, never by link. Your finished edits go into your Google Drive client folder for the order, and we email you when they're ready.
We share delivery folders by link, so anyone who has the link can open them. Please keep the link to yourself.
To run the business we use a few trusted services, each under its own privacy terms:
- Stripe for payments.
- Google for email (Gmail), files (Google Drive) and our forms (Google Forms).
- WhatsApp and Instagram, if you choose to message us there.
- GitHub Pages, which hosts this website (see section 11).
- Tally and cal.com, if you use our call application form or book a call. They load only when you click.
- Instantly and Gmail, for the outreach emails described in section 3.
Several of these services are based in, or store data in, the United States. We rely on the EU-US Data Privacy Framework where the company is certified, and on the standard contractual clauses approved by the European Commission where it is not.
7. Our website forms
The project form on our homepage sends your answers to a Google Form we own. The optional style form on our welcome page is a Google Form too. Your answers are stored in our Google account, and only Benas and Simas can see them. Google handles them under its own privacy policy.
8. How long we keep it
- Your raw footage. The files you upload and any copies we download from your links. We delete them once you've approved your edits: when you tell us they're OK, or when the 48-hour window for changes ends with no request.
- Your finished edits. They stay in your Google Drive client folder, so you can download them any time. Ask us and we'll delete the folder.
- Payment records. As long as Lithuanian tax and accounting law requires.
- Emails, messages and form answers. While they're useful for your project or enquiry. If you never order, we delete your enquiry and form answers after 12 months. Ask us and we'll delete them sooner.
9. Showing your work
Under section 7 of our terms, we may show finished work, or anonymized clips of it, in our portfolio and marketing, unless you tell us otherwise.
To opt out, write "private" or "no portfolio" in the checkout notes, or email hello@bejucreative.digital at any time, before or after delivery. We'll stop using your work in anything new and take it off our website and our social accounts.
10. We don't sell your data
We don't sell, rent or trade your personal data. We share it only with the services listed in section 6 that help us run the business, or when the law requires it.
11. Cookies and analytics
Our website doesn't set any cookies. It has no analytics, no ad pixels and no tracking scripts.
- One small setting. If you pause the video previews, your browser remembers that until you close the tab (using session storage). It stays on your device and is never sent to us.
- Partner links. If you arrive through a partner's link, your browser remembers the partner's name for that tab only (using session storage), and we add it to your Stripe checkout so we can count the order. It isn't shared with anyone else.
- An animation library. To scroll smoothly, our pages load a small script (GSAP) from cdnjs, a free code library service run by Cloudflare. Like any web request, Cloudflare sees your IP address when it sends the file. If your device asks for reduced motion, the script doesn't load.
- Hosting. GitHub Pages hosts this website. GitHub logs visitors' IP addresses for security. We can't see those logs.
- Stripe and Google pages. Checkout runs on Stripe's site, and our style form opens on Google's. Those pages may use their own cookies under their own policies.
12. Your rights
You can ask us to:
- show you the personal data we hold about you, and give you a copy;
- correct anything that's wrong;
- delete your data;
- stop or limit how we use it, including portfolio use;
- object to our use of your data for our legitimate interests, and, where we rely on your consent, take that consent back at any time;
- give you your data in a form you can move to another service, where the law gives you that right.
Email hello@bejucreative.digital, message us on WhatsApp at +370 695 75791, or DM @bejucreative on Instagram. We reply within 24 hours and complete your request within one month. We may need to keep some records, like payment records, if the law says so.
If you're unhappy with how we handle your data, you can complain to Lithuania's data protection authority, the State Data Protection Inspectorate, or to the authority where you live.
13. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy when our services or tools change. When we do, we'll change the "Last updated" date at the top of this page.
14. Contact
Questions about your data or this policy: hello@bejucreative.digital, WhatsApp +370 695 75791 or DM @bejucreative on Instagram. For orders, payment and the guarantee, see our Terms of service.
